Front Cover Photo For School Magazine
The first image that i took was at the front of the school at the reception , i thought it was a smart place for a front cover image as it as the reception sign outside the door , the person in the picture looks smart wearing correct 6th form attire with books in hand . I think this shot is perfect for my front cover as the school has high standards for 6th form Abbie ( the model) sets that perfect example .
This picture was taken in the quad , i do realise there is a bin in the background of this image if i were to use this i would edit it with photo shop . I think the image has a happy vibe to it , the lighting is good and the model looks like she's happy , i think this is a good image to use because she looks happy which is a good start , looks very smart with 6th form attire on and book in hand .
This picture was taken in the resistant materials office , i thought i could use this because it shows what the 6th form get up to in there lessons and the safety precautions . I think the picture would kinda stand out as it shows a pupil working within the school using dangerous equipment .
I've chosen the picture of Abbie , as i think it shows the 6th form of as very smart and egar to learn (books in hand ).i think the location is perfect as you have the school logo and reciption sign .

ReplyDeleteI like the way you have linked your rationale for your photos to the brand and the target audience; you are also starting to touch on issues of representation. For your main task, I'd like to see you consolidate the brand and target audience first - then we can see how this directly feeds into your photography and casting.
